Rattawut Lapcharoensap

 

Rattawut Lapcharoensap (pronounced 'Lap-char-rowan-sap'), was born in Chicago and raised in Bangkok. He was educated at Triamudomsuksa Pattanakan, Cornell University, and the University of Michigan, where he received an MFA in Creative Writing. He is twenty-five years old and Sightseeing, a volume of short stories recently published to excellent reviews, is his first published work. He is currently David T.K. Wong Fellow in the School of American Studies at the University of East Anglia where he is working on his first novel.
