What will be the score today?
Must get there early, get to the front
Sing you'll never walk alone
In my brand new shirt and scarf

Got there early, got to the front
Standing here full of hope
In my brand new shirt and scarf
Nothing else matters but to win today

Standing here full of hope
Fences to the left of me, fences to the right
Nothing else matters but to win today
This will be the best day of my life

Fences to the left of me, fences to the right
People pressing in all round me
This will be the best day of my life
We're on the way to Wem-ber-lee

People pressing in all round me
No room to breathe
We're on the way to Wem-ber-lee
My feet are off the ground

No room to breathe
Still more people cram into our cage
My feet are off the ground
The players run onto the pitch

Still more people cram into our cage
The crush barrier is cutting into my ribs
The players run onto the pitch
The eyes of the world are upon them

The crush barrier is cutting into my ribs
No hope of cheering on the lads
The eyes of the world are upon us
But I can't keep my eyes open

No hope of cheering on the lads
Try to breathe, try to stay alive
But I can't keep my eyes open
See all the bodies on the ground

Try to breathe, try to stay alive
Sing you'll never walk alone
See my body on the ground
What will be the score today?
